About the Role

Assistant Crane Operator The Assistant Crane Operator is responsible for working with the Roustabout crews in their

daily duties as well as assisting with any crane and lifting operations given to them by the Crane Operators. They are

in a "senior" Roustabout position helping the crane operator to carry out operations as per policies and procedures.

Responsible for safety as well as that of the crew. Under the direction of the Crane Operator, inspects and trains

personnel to inspect rig safety apparatus and equipment for meeting company and industry regulations. Assures all lifts

are within load limits of equipment and are correctly rigged. Assists in the orientation and training of new Roustabouts
