About the Role

Bowup Man/Rigger The bowup man/rigger is responsible for rigging and tying steel so it may be sent through the

galvanizing process. Bowup men are required to attach rigging to large, intricately shaped pieces of material knowledge

of weight capacities, rigging types, and center of gravity is required. The safe and secure tying of wire and chains is

crucial to the efficiency and safety of the operation. Duties Bowup men must work quickly and efficiently, and must be

able to work both individually and as part of a team. Key duties of bowup men include the following: Tie and prepare

material to be picked up and dipped this may include using power tools to drill holes, attaching wire and/or chains,
