About the Role

School Bus Driver Nonexempt Reports To: Associate Director of Transportation Department/School: Transportation Date

Revised: April 2020 Primary Purpose: Responsible for the safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned bus

route. Operate a school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from school or designated

location. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Valid Texas commercial driver's license

(class B) with school bus and passenger endorsement Special Knowledge/Skills: Must be 21 years of age Ability to pass

alcohol and drug test Ability to complete required bus driver safety training Ability to follow written and verbal
