About the Role

Bus Driver - Substitute Drive routes when regular drivers are absent. Qualifications/Skills: Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be 18 years and older. Must obtain and maintain a valid CDL with all

appropriate endorsements and classifications and all other required licenses, permits and certificates. Acceptable

driving record as determined by the Texas Department of Public Safety and by SBISD as well as any other local, state and

federal requirements. Must have completed or be enrolled in the School Bus Driver Certification Course developed by the

TEA and Texas DPS. Eligible for coverage under the district's vehicle insurance program. Certification of good health as
