Bus Driver
About the Role
Bus Driver Assist in the attainment of District goals through safe and courteous supervision of children being
transported between home and school. Qualifications Education and Certification Requirements High school graduate or GED
equivalent, preferred Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Texas Class "B" or "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
with endorsements for school bus driver (persons hired with class "C" driver's license must obtain the class "B" CDL
license with endorsements within 45 days of employment). Safe driving record as verified by Texas Department of Public
Safety (meet and maintain liability coverage eligibility) Certification as Texas Bus Driver by the Texas Education
