Bus Driver/trainer
About the Role
School Bus Driver Operate school buses and related equipment to provide safe and orderly transportation of students and
authorized passengers on assigned routes and activities. Assist the transportation department by training and mentoring
prospective school bus drivers in accordance with Texas state requirements and district procedures. Qualifications
Education/Certification Clear and valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S)
endorsements required Valid TxDOT physical required Completion of School Bus Driver Safety Training 20-hour course
required Certified School Bus Driver Trainer preferred or ability to become certified through the Texas Association of
