Cook - PRN Hidalgo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center - Edinburg, TX 78539 Overview Position Type Part Time Description
The Cook ensures that the resident meals are properly prepared and apportioned according to the resident's diet
specifications, facility procedures, and prescribed dietary and sanitary regulations. Essential Functions Prepared food
items on assigned/scheduled menus Maintains sanitation of equipment and utensils, work area, storage area, and serving
area Follow proper food handling procedures Qualifications Educational/Training Requirements ~ High school diploma or
equivalent preferred Licensing Requirements ~ Texas Food Handler Certificate is preferred Experience Requirements
