Diesel Mechanic

About the Role

Job Description A diesel mechanic diagnoses, repairs, and maintains diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This role

requires strong mechanical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with advanced diagnostic tools and

systems. Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, etc.) Diagnose mechanical,

electrical, and fuel system problems Use diagnostic software and tools to troubleshoot engine performance issues Test

vehicles and equipment to ensure proper operation after repairs Perform DOT (Department of Transportation) inspections

and ensure vehicles meet federal and state safety regulations Follow safety procedures and environmental regulations
