Dispatcher/ Support Services Lead
About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to perform and lead routine, recurring vehicle dispatch and recordkeeping duties
for the assigned organization. Help Leads three or more motor vehicle dispatchers in the performance of dispatching
related duties. Provides emergency 911-call taking and communication services. Performs Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD)
services to callers with medical emergencies. Operates and maintains telephones, automated data processing equipment,
printers, recorders, facsimile equipment, and other devices installed in the dispatch center for the base fire alarm
system and the Enhanced 911 system. Executes the Fire Protection Logistics Program, ensuring the Logistics Program
