About the Role

Equipment Operator I Truck Driver Under direct supervision, this position operates light and medium road and

construction equipment and trucks. Responsibilities include performing skilled, semi-skilled and manual unskilled work

in the construction and maintenance, of alleys, streets and other City properties. Generally works with a loader or

motorgrader operator and has little supervisory responsibility. Operates a variety of light and medium road and

construction equipment in the construction and maintenance, of paved and unpaved streets and alleys. Operates trucks of

2 1/2 ton to 10-12 cu. yd. (50,000 GVW) capacity in moving or hauling dirt, gravel, base material, hot-mix asphalt, and
