Field Tank Welder Marathon

About the Role

Field Tank Welder Tank and Specialty Vessel Welder. Responsible for performing welding and grinding functions per job

specifications. Selects equipment and plans layout and assembly of welding. Works closely and interacts with

supervision. Efficiently produce quality welds. Perform or assist with post weld cleanup, inspection, and repair.

Communicate regularly with the Field Foreman with regard to issues and concerns on the job site. Comply with all Matrix

safety policies and programs. Tank Welders must be able to pass the following weld tests: Specialty Vessel Welders must

be able to pass the following weld tests: Must maintain a 95-100% pass rate on weld X-ray/visual exams. Follow welding
