Freight Driver

About the Role

Driving and transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer truck for both short and long distances to deliver products to

customers. Route planning: Plan and adjust routes to meet delivery schedules and deadlines, using GPS and other

navigation tools. Loading and unloading: Supervise and/or assist in the safe loading and unloading of cargo. This

includes counting, verifying, and securing freight to prevent damage. Vehicle inspection and maintenance: Conduct daily

pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition. Report any mechanical

issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Maintain accurate and detailed logs of working hours, mileage,
