About the Role

To operate an automated and manual refuse truck, wheeled loader and skid steer to accomplish assigned activities without

supervision as well as operate office computer and provide superior customer service. Follows all safety policies. This

position involves responsibility for valuable equipment. Duties include operating various types of heavy-duty equipment

and vehicles, and computer input and customer service. Ability to service and make minor repairs on equipment and to

know safety standards and prevent hazards; Ability to learn Scale transaction computer program and other computer

processes Ability to safely drive, back, and operate the heavy equipment on busy City streets paying close attention to
