About the Role

Job Title A valid Texas Driver's License and an acceptable driving record. High School Diploma or General Equivalency

Diploma Preferred, (GED); (1) year experience in maintaining grounds. Performs grounds maintenance with competence and

thoroughness. Cuts grass using appropriate machinery and equipment, driving lawn mowers, weed eaters, small tractors and

related machinery. Practices work safety procedures by wearing gloves, protective eyewear and reading container labels.

Cares for district machines and equipment by checking fuel and oil levels and reporting machinery problems. Shovels,

rakes, and disposes of grass, brush, and general trash. Drives District vehicles to and from work site. Follows
