About the Role

Groundskeeper Position Title: Groundskeeper Department: Golf Course Rate Class: Non-Exempt Reports To: Golf Course

Director Shift: 8AM-5PM, M-F (May be changed at the discretion of the City of Freeport) Education: High School Diploma

or GED preferred. Some College preferred. Must have a valid Texas driver's license or the ability to obtain one within

90-days of hire. Job Summary: Performs routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance, landscape area and

construction/maintenance work. Operates large equipment such as tractors, mowers and loaders. Qualifications: Must be 18

years or older. Must have dependable transportation to and from work. The requirements listed are representative.
