About the Role

Journeyman Carpenter Under general supervision, responsible for providing skilled craftsmanship as a journeyman

carpenter. Responsibilities Completes carpentry work in the construction, alteration, repair and maintenance of new and

existing buildings, floors (tiles, ceramic and VCT), roofs, walls, stairways, doors, windows, cabinets, ceiling tiles,

restroom partitions cabinets and other structures. Locates seals, and repairs leaks and transitions. Maintains record of

repair and location. Operates power saws, planers, jointers, hand tools and other equipment. Selects wood, cuts to size,

and sands the surface. Cleans, sharpens, and repairs hand tools, bench tools, saws and other equipment. Performs
