Maintenance Electrician Journeyman

About the Role

Revised: 5/21/2026 This position is responsible for the electrical maintenance and service work in the Utilities

Department. Installs conduits, wires, pull boxes, switchboards, controllers, and switches required in making additions,

extensions, or alterations in electrical systems. Tests, locates, and repairs trouble in electrical circuits and

equipment; repairs and replaces defective parts in motors, generators, storage batteries, switchboards, controllers,

contactors, switches, and other fixtures and appliances. Maintain a stock of selected electrical supplies; Performs

electrical maintenance and service work. Maintains and repairs the air conditioning unit. Knowledge of modern SCADA
