Maintenance Mechanic in Food Industry

About the Role

Perform a variety of semiskilled and skilled duties to repair, rebuild, maintain, and install machinery, building

equipment and fixtures. Work from work orders, verbal instructions, trades training, manuals, blueprints, and drawings

to machine and fabricate parts, assemble, or disassemble machines and troubleshoot problems. Operate machine shop

equipment to complex and exacting tolerances to meet assigned job requirements. Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild all

plant and equipment to exacting specifications. Layout materials for machine guards, parts, conveyors, tanks, shafts and

building repairs. Set up and test run equipment for adjustments, improvements, and reductions of down or set up times.
