Material Handler/crane Operator

About the Role

Under general supervision, manually loads and unloads materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, flatbeds, or

lifting devices. Reporting to Production Supervisor. Daily yard operations rigging Rigger (using hand signals, run chain

through shipping spools, tie chains to shackles, guide the forklift operators) Load and off-load trucks. Maintain good

housekeeping and organization around the yard. Move controls to operate powdered trucks, and transport material between

loading, processing, and storage areas. Move levers and controls to operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, spreader

bar and swivel hooks, hoist, and elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, and stack material. Position lifting
