Medical Machine Operator

About the Role

Machine Operator Machine Operators are responsible for operating fabrication machines such as shears, rolls, brake

presses, forming machines, punches, planishers, burn tables, stake welders and lathes to cut, shape and bend metal plate

and sheet. Responsibilities include reviewing schedules, prioritizing daily work, reviewing specifications and

blueprints to determine machine and material requirements. Operators must operate equipment to produce parts within

required tolerances, review inventory against anticipated work load to maintain adequate stocking levels, detect and

report defective materials to management, design and implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and
