About the Role

Motor Vehicle Mechanic Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is seeking a Motor Vehicle Mechanic to work in Fort Hood, TX.

The Motor Vehicle Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses,

trucks or tractors. replacing worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and

adjusting valves; In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic requires rounded training and experience usually

acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent. Must have a minimum of 2 years of motor vehicle maintenance

experience. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1. 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred. ~ Emergency Vehicle
