About the Role
Responsible for installing, modifying, and repairing new and existing high pressure piping systems and equipment, such
as steam heating, steam generation, hydraulic systems, flash and expansion tanks, condensate, vacuum, and circulating
pumps and radiators. Operates forklifts up to 15,000 pound capacity and motor vehicles up to 5 ton capacity. Must have a
state pipefitter license (journeyman level) (TX or AR). Cut various sizes of pipe to correct lengths with chisel and
hammer, oxyacetylene torch or pipe-cutting machines, threading pipe with stocks and dies. Work Environment, Physical
Demands, and Mental Demands Shop environment, in which mechanical equipment is operated, is loud and noisy, and some
