About the Role

~ Position Summary: Under direct/indirect supervision, the Public Safety Dispatcher (I) performs a full range of

telephone operational duties in a 24-hour facility. Receives and records emergency and routine business calls; processes

and prioritizes incoming calls for police, security, and MCHS. ~ Qualifications: A. Education: High school diploma or

G.E.D. certification. B. Certification: All new employees will be evaluated under a 30/60/90-day period. During this

time, the employee may be disciplined and/or dismissed for failure to perform assigned duties and responsibilities.
