About the Role

Seasonal Park Maintenance Worker To perform a variety of semi-skilled gardening and landscape maintenance and custodial

duties. This is the entry level in the Park Maintenance series. Positions assigned to this class can be distinguished

from Parks Maintenance Worker II class in that the latter performs the more semi-skilled as well as skilled park

maintenance duties and works under general supervision of the Senior Park Maintenance Worker. Receives immediate

supervision from higher level Park Maintenance staff. Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Mow,

trim, weed, and water parks, playgrounds, and medians. Operate power mowers, edgers, and other equipment. Rake leaves,
