Solid Waste Heavy Equipment Operator

About the Role

Job Posting Duties include collecting refuse, brush and debris and transporting it to the City landfill or approved

Material Recycle Center. Duties will require working outdoors under a variety of weather conditions and typically will

require lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with the assistance of other employees. A high school

diploma or equivalent with one year relevant experience, and at least six months recent experience driving any vehicle

that requires a Class A or B commercial driver's license (CDL) to operate. Must currently possess a Class A or B CDL;

and, have formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to communicate in English at a level
