Terminal Heavy Equipment Mechanic
About the Role
The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and diagnosis of
equipment at the terminal. To safely perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to facility assets such as
but not limited to repairing; cranes, excavators, dozers, forklifts, tele-handlers, air compressors, light towers, front
wheel loaders, UTV's, trucks 1⁄2 ton and up. Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled. Inspect and
audit equipment usage and checklists periodically for issues. Generate parts requisitions for repairs. Corrects
equipment deficiencies with proper diagnosing techniques. Provides input on preventing inadvertent equipment breakdowns.
