Transportation Bus Driver

About the Role

Bus Driver Trainer Reports to: Transportation Safety Coordinator Dept./School: Transportation Date Revised: 02/2019

Primary Purpose: Participate in the employee training activities of the Transportation department to ensure that

employees are optimally trained to operate a district school bus and adequately serve the transportation needs of the

students. Qualifications: Education/Certification: Minimum of High School Diploma required Acquire and/or maintain

Specialist level certification or greater through Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (TAPT Trainer preferred)

Must pass DOT physicals and alcohol/drug tests Acceptable driving record in accordance with DPS standards Acceptable
