Painter II Paint Shop Evening Shift Reports to: Foreperson - Paint Shop Multiple Positions Pay Grade: 803 Duty Days: 244

Salary Range: $36,112 - $43,491 FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Purpose: Under general supervision, performs skilled

brush, roller, and spray painting, and applies coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and

protect exterior and interior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and structures throughout the District.

Essential Job Functions: Maintenance & Repair Prepares surfaces for painting, including sanding and removing old paint,

filling holes, cracks, and joints with appropriate filler; tapes, floats, and textures walls and ceilings. Paints
