About the Role
Collection System Maintenance Technician The Collection System Maintenance Technician performs maintenance, cleaning,
inspection, and minor repair of the City's wastewater collection system. This position supports the operation of vacuum
and jetting equipment, responds to sewer line issues, and assists with maintaining sewer mains, laterals, and manholes.
Work is performed under the supervision of the Wastewater Collections Foreman to ensure reliable service and regulatory
compliance. Assists with cleaning and jetting sewer mains; inspects and maintains manholes and service lines; responds
to sewer backups and sanitary sewer overflows; performs minor repairs; sets up traffic control and safe work zones;
