About the Role

Welder - Fabricator The Welder - Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication and welding of sheet metal, certifying to

ASME BPV Code, Section IX: Welding, Brazing, and Fusing Qualifications (On Demand) to manually weld metal thicknesses

ranging from 0.020" to 0.300" thickness, in all positions comprised of stainless steel, Inconel, cobalt, and aluminum

alloys. Set-up and layout jobs using blueprints, diagrams and fixtures following welding procedures to TIG weld in all

positions including the use of rotary turntables for manual welding. Inspects, maintains and logs preventative

maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating. Sets up machines according to work instructions to trim,
