About the Role

Job Title Under general supervision, is responsible for performing skilled work at the journey level in Mig & Tig

acetylene and electric arc welding, brazing, and metal cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. May exercise

functional supervision. Work Location: 7930 S. Flores St. Work Hours: 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.; Monday - Friday. Shifts are

subject to change to accommodate seasonal adjustments, evening coverage, weekends, and holiday shiftwork based on

department needs. Essential Job Functions Pre-heats and cleans metals. Lays out, cuts, and fits materials for welding.

Welds machinery and equipment using Mig & Tig acetylene or electric arc welding equipment. Performs cutting and welding
