About the Role

Under general supervision, is responsible for performing skilled work at the journey level in Mig & Tig acetylene and

electric arc welding, brazing, and metal cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. May exercise functional supervision.

Monday - Friday. Shifts are subject to change to accommodate seasonal adjustments, evening coverage, weekends, and

holiday shiftwork based on department needs. Lays out, cuts, and fits materials for welding. Welds machinery and

equipment using Mig & Tig acetylene or electric arc welding equipment. Performs cutting and welding operations on

structural steel, pipe and fitting, crankcases, radiators, tanks, brackets, truck frames, and automotive bodies which
